Redesign a book cover using only typography, including the front, back, and spine. Use creative typography to reflect the book’s subject and personality, making it eye-catching and message-driven without pictures, while incorporating fonts, colours, symbols, and texture.

The covers of Douglas Kennedy’s previously published The Big Picture books featured only zoomed-in camera sections or beach scenes. Upon hearing the title, I immediately thought of a photographer and researched various photography poses. I then reimagined the title “THE BIG PICTURE” through
several iterations, crafting a unique front cover design that also shapes the form of a person. Given the thriller genre, I chose a bold red as the primary colour to evoke intensity and drama.
