Create an original illustrated poster for a music group’s 2024 Canadian summer tour, avoiding any existing images, album art, or band member photos. The design should be made in Photoshop, with optional Illustrator elements, using techniques demonstrated in class.

I used to listen to a lot of music, but I stopped around the age of 15, so I wasn’t very familiar with a wide variety of music. While searching for songs with positive lyrics and melodies, I came across a waltz rhythm song titled “Beyond My Dreams.” Its uplifting title and lyrics helped me establish a clear concept for my design. I incorporated positive colours like pink, yellow, purple, and blue and moved beyond the typical blue sky and white clouds to create a different, more vibrant, and positive atmosphere.
